BACHELOR'S DEGREE
Instructions for obtaining a Bachelor's Degree
OBIA offers several programs for a bachelor's degree (see specialties on the website). All specializations offered by the Academy consist of 132 credit hours and the duration of formal study is 3 years, each year consists of 3 semesters, 4 months each. each student can study 5 courses for 15 hours in one semester (each course consists of 3 credit hours). The graduation assignment is equivalent to 4 courses with 12 credit hours, designed by the student in the last semester after passing all the courses successfully.
The OBIA bachelor study system is a distance learning for all courses, where the student is delivered books, courses and detailed plans for all courses, the student presents a theoretical research paper dealing with one of the basic topics for each course according to the study plan, therefore, OBIA adopts the assignment exam system as an accredited distance study mode at many universities in the world. Studying is done in the language chosen by the student.
Admission Requirements: The student must have successfully completed general secondary certificate in his country.
Registration Method:
The student can enter the application, or perform the following steps:
- The student selects the specialization wishes to study (from the website) and sends the letter of the registration unit to the e-mail: g.study@obiaacademy.uk including: the name of the student and the specialization he wishes to study, attach with the letter:
- A copy of Passport (Name in English)
- A copy of the general secondary certificate (or its equivalent)
- The approved registration form (available on the Academy website) where the student completes the form and signs it and sends a copy of it
- The student receives a preliminary approval for registration. he is required to deposit a sum of money (half of the total amount of a bachelor's degree) in the OBIA bank account (or an authorized agent). a copy of the bank receipt is sent to g.study@obiaacademy.uk the registration unit also sends to the student:
- A certificate of admission containing the university number
- Student ID
- Study plan for the university specialization
- Detailed courses plans
- The first semester of the student starts from the moment of acceptance. each semester lasts for 4 months, during which the student passes 15 hours (5 courses). before the end of the semester, the student sends research papers to the e-mail g.study@obiaacademy.uk where the research is course to review by specialists in the field of student study. after making all the proposed amendments, the student will be sent results in the semester courses (transcript).
- In the last semester: after the student successfully passes all the courses he chooses the title of the graduation assignment. After agreement with the academic supervisor on the title, he writes his project according to the special criteria of the academic specialization (which is provided by the academic supervisor). after passing the requirements for success in the graduation assignment, the student has completed the requirements for obtaining a bachelor's degree from OBIA.
- After the student has passed all the graduation requirements one week, the student will receive the original copies in the mail according to the student's address:
- Bachelor's degree in the major studied
- Transcript
- University attestation
The Study Cost:
The full cost of undergraduate study is (2,400US.$). the student pays in two installments. the first payment upon registration. and the second payment at the beginning of the second semester.
